Our client is an important multinational, leader in its sector (>7 bil. € turnover) internationally recognized for brand awareness and global presence. With the aim of strengthening the IT Engineering team, in order to face new and important projects both in Italy and abroad, we have been appointed to look for an Agile Project Manager.

Agile Project Manager - Rif: H20423
Location: Bologna

 

This role requires a highly motivated individual with high attention to detail in time and scope management, excellent problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude towards Hybrid-Agile development methodologies. 
  • Helping the product core team leading the development and test team (virtual team of ~ 60 FTE) delivering the Sprint Scope applying aspects from both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in processing high volume of data accurately and efficiently to assist with monthly/quarterly delivery reporting/critical metrics and KPI. 
  • Assist Program Core Team in preparing the monthly scope freeze and the quarterly release planning. 
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of the teams and lead them in self-organization while ensuring all are actively working toward established milestones. 
  • Responsible for the monitoring and cleaning of the team workload on a day-by-day basis. 
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams such as developers, design and quality. 
  • Remove impediments and resolve occurring conflicts and issues 
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration 
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint 
  • Review multiple control reports and assist with urgent requests by supplying information quickly, efficiently and accurately in an organized manner while identifying the root cause and addressing issues as needed. 
  • Participate in collecting relevant data, preparing trend reports and assist in analyzing the data and presenting the findings to managers. Includes Done vs Committed analysis and velocity trend analysis, change request reports, documentation, knowledge based artifacts, change request tracking and scheduling. 
  • Responsible for the preparation and completeness of monthly and quarterly metrics and KPI reporting requirements. 
  • Identify risks, threats, as well as opportunities that could impact the success of the project, notifying the team and escalating issues when appropriate 
  • Identify deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, initiating change requests as needed 
  • Control the quality by reviewing deliverables prior to client presentation; enhance internal and external deliverables/documents; suggest process improvements. 
  • Perform monthly end and quarter-end close procedures, providing the related statistics and KPI. 
  • Help the team achieve higher levels of Agile knowledge and maturity 
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives. 
 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Experience in coordinating IT team’s activities 
  • Prior experience in hybrid-Agile delivery management 
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. 
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. 
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions and explain complex solutions. 
  • Experience on tracking tools as Jira, DevOps 
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment 
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in complex environments with tight delivery deadlines
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
