For our client, primary company operating in the renewable field, we are looking for:


Mission Statement: Purchase and plan materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies, procedures and production demand.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Orders: Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements;
  2. Bid analysis: Analyzes and evaluates bids in order to determine the optimal value;
  3. Goods received: Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery time and ensure invoice processing;
  4. Supplier performance: Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues;
  5. Negotiations: Support category manager on negotiation with suppliers;
  6. Customer alignment: Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
  7. Process alignment: Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.

An individual contributor who performs activities in support of a process or internal team. Responsibilities generally focus on organizing and coordinating on a task, project or program basis. May work under direct supervision or independently, generally delivering on pre-defined tasks.

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (Mechanical Engineering and Management Engineering nice to be. Degree in Economics to be considered, too)
  • 5-6 years of professional working experience in similar role, in a supply chain structure with warehouse production
  • Fluency in English and Italian

Desired Characteristics:
  • Previous experience in working with suppliers;
  • Problem solving;
  • Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Advanced knowledge about MS Office, SAP.

We offer a permanent contract with remuneration commensurate with the experience gained in the role.
