To grow the business for the Italian sales and service branch, we are recruiting a


Commercial Director / Country Sales Manager / Responsabile Commerciale

Location: South of Milan Italy


  • Lead, support and develop the Italy-based commercial and service team
  • Search for new business development opportunities and customers
  • Lead and contribute actively to developing sales from existing and new clients and sectors
  • Focus business development primarily and initially on Italy with the scope to internationalize
  • Manage, monitor and oversee implementation of the Sales and Marketing activities
  • Co-define the sales and commercial strategy, ensure that targets are met
  • Conduct market, business and competitor analysis
  • Develop and maintain optimum client and business-partner relations
  • Carry responsibility for p/l and manage a budget
  • Grow the business year-on-year
  • Carry out reporting in English to Top Management abroad
  • Collaborate with operations and other corporate functions abroad
  • Collaborate nationally and internationally
  • Travel about 30% of the time


Candidate Profile

  • University degree-holder in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
  • 7+ years sales and commercial management experience selling engineering products to sectors such as the petrochemical sector, civil engineering, oil & gas, power generation, refineries, railways, heavy engineering and paper mills
  • Experienced in managing and developing the strengths and potential of a commercial team
  • Operates in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Used to meeting commercial targets
  • Used to developing business as well as formulating, negotiating and executing contracts
  • Customer-focused
  • Communicates effectively with different company functions and nationalities
  • Leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can motivate and work effectively in teams
  • Able to implement business and organizational change
  • Very good English and Italian
  • Available to travel regularly as required in Italy and abroad
