The Company

Our Client is a multinational Company, with a direct presence in many markets and a wide portfolio of leading brands.  For its Global HQs, based in Milan, we are currently supporting the Company in the growth of the Global IT Function, and its strategy deployment for the years to come.

The Role 

Reporting to the Global IT Director, this role will be focused on the management of a portfolio of IT Products and Solutions for FINANCE, taking also part to the design and implementation project of SAP S/4 Hana.

This role will closely work with business stakeholders for the identification, design and adoption of global IT solutions, with focus on Finance: FP&A Statutory Consolidation areas.

 More in detail:

  • Act as Demand Manager for FP&A and Statutory Consolidation areas, for the definition of functional and technical solutions coming from new requirements (Change Requests and Projects)
  • Contribute in Business Cases definition, identifying new solutions to improve the business capabilities and – once approved – define the product lifecycle within the Company
  • Ensure that the solution blueprint is aligned to functional requirements, as well as to the overall technology framework and quality standards
  • Involve and engage regional/local stakeholders, to organize the deployment of global solutions
  • Lead Fit-gap Analysis between existing Global Applications and Business Capabilities
  • Proactively brings external innovation into the Company
  • Contribute in the definition of the Application Roadmap for Financial Planning & Analysis and Consolidation tools, SAP BPC and SAC Planning.
  • Project Management: define detailed IT project plans in line with the different streams of Finance; exposure to ITIL standard will be a plus


  • Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines (Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, IT).
  • 8+ years of experience in IT roles, working in consultancy or large multinational companies, working across multiple countries.
  • Deep knowledge of Financial Planning, Operational Reporting and Statutory Consolidation, including: Product Cost Calculation, Profitability Analysis, Variances Analysis, What-If Analysis, Flex Budget, Long Term Forecast, Financial Planning, Integrated Business Planning, etc.
  • SAP Systems: good know-how on ECC CO and ML (plus integration with MM, PP and SD), BW, BPC, SAC, SAP FIORI.
  • SAP S/4 Hana: a previous exprience in the phases of detailed design or implementation will be a plus.
  • Experience in digital transformation (es. RPA, Machine Learning, AI, Advance Analytics, Blockchain).
  • Program/Project management capability is a must.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: ITIL v4, Agile, Six Sigma, Prince 2, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, “can do” attitude and ability to cooperate and build consensus.
  • Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels of business (strategic to operational) for efficient and timely communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent English is a must, Italian as well as a third European language is a plus.
