For our client, primary company operating in the renewable field, we are looking for:


The selected candidate will support the definition, the development, the market positioning, the price and the launch of product/system in reference to needs of Customers in solar inverter market.

Your main responsibilities

  • Leads market intelligence analysis. Understands and defines current market segmentation and related product/system positioning. Identifies potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity.
  • Owns the technical and market specification for the product/system and determines a product/system business plan that supports sustainable growth.
  • Leads life cycle management process, analyses current product/system, defines and tracks performance metrics, plans appropriate measures (e.g. enhancements, cost reductions, phase-outs) and makes decisions on product/system obsolescence and end-of life
  • Acts as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development), forecasting volume trends on a regular basis to ensure Operation’s capability to fulfil customer orders.
  • Contributes to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, follow-up of product/system portfolio performance.
  • Prioritizes new product/system development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, capital expenditure, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Initiates and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation.
  • Defines product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensures clear communication to channels and users


Your background

  • Master degree in the areas of business administration and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as Product Manager (preferable in the renewable field).
  • Experience with building new products from scratch and managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, highly analytical and data-driven, creative problem solver.
  • Long experience in working in multi-cultural teams within structured international companies.
  • Strong personal leadership and communication skills.
  • Great presentation and written communication skills in English.


Place of work: Toscana (Firenze/Arezzo), and international transfers

We offer a permanent contract with remuneration commensurate with the experience gained in the role.
