GRUPPO SCAI SpA, is looking for new talents for an important client, leader in the IoT & Home automation field. Specifically, we are looking for a:

Junior Solution Architect
Place of work: Monza

The candidate, will work in a very challenging and dynamic environment, will take care of:

• Reporting to the IoT Architecture & Development Manager, be responsible for technical architecture design and documentation;
• Liaise with firmware and software development teams to design data models, communication protocols and application interfaces;
• Plan and lead the technical architecture evolution for IoT projects and architect the integration across applications;
• Solve challenges with latency, security, cost efficiency, edge computation;
• Promote the adoption of best-in-class software engineering practices, frameworks, and tools.
• You provide guidance and feedback to software developers.

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Engineering or related field experience.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in architecting IT solutions, with focus on back end components.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in technical requirements analysis and data modeling.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in API architecture, API management and REST API design.
• Ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance on a highly technical project.
• Working knowledge of major database frameworks.
• Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts.
• Proactive attitude with a will ingness to find innovative solutions that drive results.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Proven experience effectively prioritizing work load to meet deadlines and work objectives.
• Proficiency in word processing, spread sheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools.
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian.
