The Context

Our Client is a prestigious international player within the banking and insurance services.
For the Italian HQ we are seeking for the Compliance Manager.

Place of work: Milan/Turin
 

The Role

Reporting to the Legal Director, her/his main responsibility will be related to:
  • Supervising and managing, on a daybyday basis, the noncompliance risks to which the bank and its subsidiary are exposed while running their respective businesses,
  • identifying suitable procedures for the prevention of the risk detected, requesting their adoption and verifying their adequacy and correct application;
  • identifying/monitoring the regulatory framework applicable to the bank and measuring / evaluating impacts on corporate processes and procedures arising from new legal and regulatory requirements;
  • providing assistance to the company structures for the definition of the methodologies for the evaluation of risks of non-compliance;
  • propose organizational and procedural changes aimed at ensuring adequate monitoring of the identified non-compliance risks;
  • preparing information flows towards corporate bodies and other control functions;
  • liaising on regular basis with the Supervisory Authorities, BoD, Statutory Auditors.
  • check the effectiveness of the organizational adjustments suggested for risk prevention of non-compliance;
  • advising on compliance with the relevant legal and regulatory framework (banking, insurance, consumer and data protection) of new innovative products and services launched by the Bank and its subsidiary.

The Requirements

  • Master Degree in Law
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years in prestigious international law firms and banking/insurance contexts will be considered a strong plus
  • Fluency in English will be a must
  • Fully competent with Windows, MS Office
  • Strong Leadership
  • Self-assurance and autonomy
  • Stress Management
  • Ability to manage relations at different level
