Context

Our Client is an international full-service fund and corporate services provider specialized in handling local administrative and compliance issues for International Clients such as private equity & infrastructure houses, real estate firms, private debt managers, multinationals, capital market issuers.
As a fully integrated provider, they combine cross border transaction experience with local accounting knowledge.
In 2022 our Client is going to establish a direct branch in Italy.

Role

Reporting to the Regional Executive, the Country Executive will represent the Company to major clients, prospects, professional associations and regulatory bodies in Italy.

Main responsibilities:
 
  • Accountable for developing and delivering the strategy and operating model for Italy towards the profitable growth;
  • Closely monitor the Italy operating and financial results against plans and budgets (with ultimate P&L responsibility);
  • Responsible for sales growth and execution;
  • Accountable for maintaining adequate controls and compliance and will hold the key relationship with the local regulatory authorities;
  • Build a resource plan aligned to the growth plan for the country to build a team of resources as well as identifying and leveraging internal partnerships with other teams to ensure the seamless delivery for clients.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant with a proven track record in leading Corporate Services and Funds activities;
  • Expertise accrued in Audit, Consulting, Financial Services industry, Corporate Banking, supporting private equity houses, real estate firms and private debt managers and providing services for global asset managers and global asset owners;
  • Strong commercial drive to own and deliver a P&L;
  • Demonstrated ability to explain and sell in multi-product/multi-cultural/ multi-jurisdiction environments;
  • University Economics Degree, International managerial training; MBA (nice to have); Experience of sitting on client boards would be desirable;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influencing capabilities in a global and complex matrix organisation;
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral command (further languages knowledges are nice to have).
