Our Client is a solid international FMCG non-food company positioned to conquer the Italian market. 
They wish to recruit an ambitious and experienced Private Label Retail Home/Personal Care Sales Manager – Italy
Location: home office
 
 

Il Ruolo

  • Seek out and develop New Clients for Private Label Retail Home/Personal Care business in Italy
  • Manage and further develop existing Retail Clients
  • Liaise with the Innovation Department to create and introduce New Product Concepts
  • Liaise closely with the international Sales team to implement strategy, improve volumes and margins
  • Build excellent Client relations as well as relations with international colleagues
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, sales volumes, margins
  • Agree and meet annual business plan and sales targets
  • Carry out reporting and participate in regular digital meetings
  • Travel as much as possible visiting clients nationally, visiting sector trade fairs, participating in international company meetings and training
  • Dedicate time to: market and competitor analysis, strategy, forecasting, reporting and data sharing
  • Work as part of an international team
     

I Requisiti

  • University degree holder preferably in Business
  • 3-5+ years’ Private Label Home/Personal Care sales experience to Retail with experience in KAM as well as in New Client Acquisition and Development
  • Alternatively 3-5+ years’ Private Label Home/Personal Care Buying / Purchasing / Procurement experience.  This as a Buyer working in Retail
  • Good negotiation and commercial skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinker
  • Used to reporting, forecasting and data sharing
  • Good / very good English as well as fluent Italian; knowledge of / willingness to learn an additional European language constitutes a plus
  • Autonomous, well-organised, proactive as well as a problem-solver / trouble-shooter
  • Good at developing strong Client / Supplier relations
  • Good at developing collaborative internal relations with colleagues
  • Able to work in a virtual team
  • Used to reaching goals and sales / commercial targets
  • Customer-satisfaction oriented and ambitious
  • In possession of driving licence
  • Willing to travel as much as is possible mainly in Italy to visit clients and in Europe for company meetings
  • Interested in developing into a role of greater responsibility in Italy
